Save the Beaters

This is a 1931 Chevrolet three window coupe. I found this when I took Louie to check out a 1949 Ford. I bought it on the spot!The owner has since passed away. He told me stories of driving the car to work in the copper mines in the UP. He bought it from a carpenter that had built a box to replace the trunk lid.

I must be crazy for dragging this out. I have found a home for it. A retired friend bought it to combine with another car, taking the best of both.

It is damaged from some logging work that took place nearby. The car body is sheet metal nailed to a wood frame. The wood deteriorates and the car usually collapses in a pile. Chevy back

This is a 1969 Mustang located on the same property. It is beyond saving. I will get some parts from it before it is recycled.
